About Wallet Compatibility


BitPay's business solutions are compatible with all of the bitcoin technical standards. However, not all bitcoin wallets are compatible with the rest of the bitcoin network. 

Some wallets do not send the transaction immediately, and some wallets deduct a fee from the transaction and send less than the requested amount.

BitPay discourages the use of account-based services (like exchanges) to send payment to an invoice, unless those services send the full amount immediately.
